Beginning Fall 2023, the boys at United Futbol Academy (UFA) Metro Atlanta will join the South Atlantic Premier League (SAPL), a member of the US Club, National Premier League series.UFA Metro Atlanta is excited to announce the acceptance into the NPL’s South Atlantic Premier League beginning in the 2023-2024 season for our U13-U19 top boys teams. This move will allow players to compete in one of the most recognized platforms in the region. Teams will compete against other regional member leagues and for qualification to the 2024 NPL Finals, which will be held in July in Denver, Colorado.
“Congratulations to our UFA Metro 2009 boys for winning the SCCL championship, UFA Metro 2008 boys for winning SAPL league and advancing to NPL Nationals in Denver, and our 2005 boys for being SCCL runner-up. With this success, UFA Metro has been accepted into the SAPL," stated Luke Collins, UFA Metro Atlanta Director of Coaching.
The NPL’s vision is to serve youth soccer by forming and collaborating with leagues, adopting the Players First philosophy and supporting US Club Soccer’s mission to foster the development of clubs. More information on SAPL can be found on their website.
