If your player would like to be evaluated for the upcoming soccer season with UFA, please be sure to register online prior to tryouts. Players should attend all 3 sessions for their age group. Simply go to our website at metro.unitedfa.org, log into your account and search under AVAILABLE PROGRAMS for “2024-2025 METRO Academy Tryouts" program. (Instructions on how to set up an account can be found here.) There is no cost to try out. Players will not receive their tryout ID number until they have been registered.

  • Please do not use any club-identifying uniforms/apparel (including shirts/shorts/jerseys)

U9-U13 Players: Team acceptance emails will be sent as soon as the rosters are confirmed. Online Acceptance Registration MUST be completed, with payment.

U14-U19 Players: Team acceptance emails will be sent as soon as the rosters are confirmed. Online Acceptance Registration MUST be completed, with payment.

UFA Metro Atlanta’s fees are like tuition. Fees are not optional. If your child is unable to attend a tournament or train for any reason including illness or injuries (except as noted below), you will not receive a refund. No adjustment or reduction in Club fees is allowed. Players who suffer serious injuries lasting more than three months may submit a request to the Executive Director for release of payment of fees for that period.

Items paid for by your fees include: Coaching, field rental, team training, skills training, referee cost/assignments, coaching education, GSSA League Fees including liability insurance, & Club administration expenses.

Payment Options/Schedule
Academy and Select 13U - 15U will have a choice of up to five (5) payments. Select 16U – 19U will have a choice of up to three (3) payments. Payment(s) can be made by credit card or money order. Convenience fees do apply for each credit card transaction and installment fees apply to all payment plan options.

Payment Default
UFA Metro Atlanta is a membership organization. Unpaid dues represent funds not available to meet Club expenses. Any player delinquent in dues by 7 days or more will be notified by the Club and suspended from participating in any Club/team activity.

Team Expenses
Club fees do not cover team expenses, which include but are not limited to, tournament entry fees, practice t-shirts, uniforms, referee fees for friendly games, optional camp fees and coach’s lodging expense for out-of-town tournaments (i.e. 100+ miles one way). Teams will collect fees according to their team financial policy. Players not paying team fees within 10 days of the due date will be subject to being suspended from participating in any Club/team activity and will be subject to a late payment fee of $25.

Financial Aid
UFA Metro Atlanta has developed a program that provides financial aid to qualifying youth athletes to play soccer. This program maintains confidentiality while assisting players with registration fees and some coaching fees. It does not cover the cost of uniforms, travel expenses and tournament fees. Request for financial aid will be based on a first-come, first-served basis and available funds are limited each year. Families receiving financial aid are required to volunteer additional hours to UFA Metro. Any family member of the player may work these volunteer hours and will be credited toward reducing the amount of financial aid. Financial Aid applications can be downloaded from our club website or requested by emailing ufametro@unitedfa.org. Forms should be submitted to info@brookhavenfc.soccer. The application form is due BEFORE the last day of tryouts.

Release Policy
If a player quits or wishes to be released from the Club, all fees to UFA Metro Atlanta will need to be paid in full.

Misc Information

  • Teams will practice a minimum of twice a week. Optional skill sessions and Goalkeeper training are available to all Academy and Select players.
  • Club policy is to allow coaches to train more than one of the club's teams. Therefore, it is inevitable that team coaches will occasionally be unable to attend certain games. Every effort will be made by the Club to arrange for a suitable alternative staff member to coach the team on game day.
  • Select soccer is a competitive environment. Efforts are made to attract good soccer players during tryouts and throughout the year. Rosters can and will change.
  • UFA Metro Atlanta operates successfully at a lower cost due to the involvement of parent volunteers. Each family will be asked to volunteer their time to help UFA Metro Atlanta in its events, day-to-day running and tournaments.
  • Coaches will not be collecting registration fees. All payments must be made through our registration system online.

The above is part of UFA Metro Atlanta’s policies and does not affect a family's commitment to pay the Club Dues when due. This contract will be listed in our online registration system as an electronic agreement. By accepting the online document, you are agreeing to abide by the rules, policies, and procedures of the UFA Metro Atlanta and be governed by its representatives. The Directors meet regularly, and all Club members are encouraged to submit any concerns to the ufametro@unitedfa.org.
